Wednesday, 01/29/14 - The BIG Fat lie we've been suckered into!

Every wonder why autoimmune disease is so rampant in this country? Why do you think there's such a high incidence of health issues such as  ADD, ADHD, Autism, diabetes, dementia, Alzheimer's, arthritis, fibromyalgia, cancer?   And it's not a natural part of aging to lose our memory!  It's the FOOD!  This is why I highly recommend reading 'Grain Brain' by Dr. David Perlmutter.   This book is fascinating.  I gave my copy away recently and just ordered it on Audio CD! Buy them used on Amazon.

He said we've been fed a BIG FAT lie about fat causing us to be fat! Just saw someone on one of the food channels saying to remove the fat from the chicken because fat isn't good for us!  He also said not to use butter!   His mom is famous on the cooking channels and she's got Diabetes!  Go figure?  Actually she's right about the butter especially if it's grass fed butter!  Are you doing the happy dance about now?

It's the gluten/wheat and carbs we need to be concerned with!  Fat is actually a good thing! You're going to be pleased to know that your brain loves and thrives on FAT!

Note:  Dr. Perlmutter says, "if someone is looking for a sweetener, I am okay with them using Stevia. I note the same in Grain Brain."
