5 Healthy Foods For Losing Weight as seen on the Dr. OZ show with Dr. Fuhrman

Eat the right healthy foods and there's no need for counting all those calories! 

Pomegranate great for the heart and blood vessels, lower cholesterol, but also lower blood pressure and a powerful antioxidant.  Organic pomegranate seeds act a lot like aspirin, keeping blood platelets from sticking together and forming dangerous blood clots.

Healthy benefits of Pomegranate -

Antioxidant Rich Smoothie
Serves: 2 Preparation Time: 5 minutes

8 cups organic baby spinach
1 cup pomegranate juice
1 cup blueberries, frozen
1 cup strawberries, frozen
8 dates, cut in half
2 tablespoons flaxseeds, ground
1/2 avocado, optional

Blend all ingredients together. This is delicious & very healthy!

2. Cocoa powder is high in antioxidants and Flavonoids

3. Aduki beans high fiber increased fatty acid oxidation. I posted about them recently!  We love um!

4. Squash right carbs that don't raise blood sugar. Reduce weight and some may no longer need diabetes medicine. (of course always check with your doctor before going off any medications.  Personally I'm almost 60 and no longer on any prescription medications.  I chose a different route in 2005 and weened off all the medications I was on while under my doctors care. I don't have insurance so this is the best choice for me personally and I feel terrific). Check the squash recipes out below! 

5. Cashews, nuts and seeds takes hours to break down to fat.  Make a delicious salad dressing using oranges, olive oil,  cashews,  white wine and lemon. Mix apricot and cashews together for a tasty healthy treat!
