Just finished reading both of Dr. Sandra Cabot's books ‘The Liver - Cleansing Diet’ and ‘Raw Juices Can Save Your Life. This information has been fascinating, eye opening and I'm really excited to share it with everyone who's looking forward to a similiar health journey this coming year! If you're interested in expanding your life, having more energy, losing weight, feeling better happier, healthier, than you have in years then please continue to read on and I invite you to join me in this journey as 2013 is the year I turn 60! Let's get it on and turn back your clock!
"Many people struggle with excessive weight and sluggish metabolism all their lives and find that as they age they gradulaly gain more weight and become resigned to a large protruding addomen and stubborn fat deposits. I must admit it took me more than twenty years of medical practice before the solution dawned on me! The liver, the supreme organ of metabolism had to be the missing key. It seemed so simple and yet so incredible; why hadn't someone thought of this before?" Dr. Sandra Cabot
I've already started to incorporate some of Dr. Cabot's liver cleanse recommendations and adding a few of her health products into my daily nutritional regimen. I'm cutting down on the amount of dairy we're eating and adding more fresh fruits and a variety of vegtables. In place of using milk, creams in cooking I'm using unsweetened coconut and almond milk to create delicious creamy sauces that are much more healthy! I'm using extra virgin olive oil more instead of butter and added Dr. Cabot's LSA mixture (Linseeds, sunflower seeds and almonds ground up in the Ninja food processer and added to protein shakes, cereal and for breading fish). Drinking 2 glasses of purified water with fresh squeezed lemon, organge or lime in water every morning upon waking. This helps cleanse the liver.
We're starting a raw juicing program as soon as our new Nutrit Bullet juicer arrives. More on that later! I highly recommend Dr. Cabot's books and plan to blog about this particular subject more as I continue on this personal journey because I truly believe her recommendations can not only save but extend and help people to live happier, healthier more energic lives on into their golden years!
Some things we plan to accomplish in 2013 are putting in a nice organic garden for fresh veggies and herbs to eat and juice plus build a back yard patio for outdoor grilling and enjoyment, concentrate on enhancing our health, getting more exercise, building our home business, doing a clearing of all the stuff we no longer need in our life. We plan to spend more time together now that Clif is back home here in Austin and we're the empty nesters!
Stay tuned for more of this exciting journey just ahead!
Here's to yours and our super abundant health, much happiness, lot's of love, peace and prosperity!
Happy New Year!
