Which seed are you?
I’ve have enjoyed being retired for a few years now doing a lot of reflecting, resting, relaxing, traveling, cooking, gardening, serving at our church One Chapel here in Spicewood, keeping up with folks on Facebook, enjoying our Aussie dog Titan and branding Gluten Free Lady. My husband and I took a year and a half discipleship class with our church called Catalyst and graduated last spring . We recently finished up the Financial Peace University class at our church which gave us more insight on saving our emergency fund, paying debt, investing and doing a 0 based budget. Happy to say we got through the entire class and graduated. All of this growing has truly blessed me so that I can serve and bless others.
Personally in the last four years of stepping back and taking more time to develop spiritually, it helped me grow as a disciple of Christ becoming the seed cast on the good earth. It wasn't always this way because for so long I was into pleasing the world. I just didn’t know any better until taking some time and diving in head first with God. No tip toes in or testing the waters, just getting out of the boat with trust and belief.
Let me know how I can help you become the seed on 'good' earth!
